What is (Inorganic) Germanium?

Germanium is a non metal mineral/material which has a strong natural semiconductor characteristics. In 1867 a Russian scientist Dmitri Mendeleev predicted based on the chemical Periodic Table, that a material with such element must exist to complete the table and christened it Ekasilicon before it was found. Then in 1886a German scientist Clemens Winkler found the material and named it Germanium following the place where it was found, Germany.

As compare to Silicon or Tourmaline, Germanium is the best material for semiconductor as the characteristics is naturally available at room temperature while others require a certain degree of impact before they can become a semiconductor. World first transistor which was created by Bell Laboratory in 1947 was made of Germanium! But due to it’s scarcity, a less suitable material, Silicon is currently used widely in semiconductor industry. Germanium is widely used in fibre optics, speakers & infra red equipments.

 

How can Germanium be beneficial to mankind?

1)With excellent semiconductor characteristic, Germanium can discharge negative ions to continuously stabilized human body electric current. Negative ions in our body electric current is what water is to the flowing river. We need to keep our body electricity flows continuously at a required level, to ensure our energy flow uninterrupted. That is why sometime after a long hard day or even after an arduous sporting we will feel very exhausted. This is because we are running out of negative ions. By replenishing it back at a steady rate, we will be able to avoid exhaustion and improve our well being.

2)Anti Oxidant
The biggest fear and the root cause to many internal health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure and stroke is aging. The negative ions supplied by Germanium to human body suppressed the production of Serotonin, thus prevent SHS (Serotonin Hyperfunction Syndrom) a syndrom which can make us suffer insomnia, nausea, heart pulpitation, migrain, dizziness fatigue etc. 15 minutes after the patients wearing a supporter containing Germanium, it is evident (top wave picture, 3rd from left) in the brain wave scanner that the patient was releasing more Alpha waves as compare to the brain wave picture at the top of left most column as an evident of a lower level of Serotonin in our body.

The more reddish color the wave is, means he was releasing more Alpha waves, therefor he was in a calmer situation. As for Beta wave scans on the right side of each Alpha wave, both before and after scans show no noticeable changes.

4)Infra Red Absorbant

Germanium is not just a good semiconductor, but it also absorb Infra Red wave (heat wave) better.As a good absorbant, it is widely used in night vision equipments, thermal scanners etc. In the above experiment, Dr. Ishigaki MD applied a leather band containing Germanium to a patient's wrist. After 12 minutes, it is evident that the hand temperature has increased to more than 32 degree celcius. With this feature, Germanium can be used to improve blood circulation by absorbing body heat, accumulating it and radiate it back to the body part that is having circulation problem.
